At Oaks Academy, we offer a comprehensive, faith-based education using the Abeka curriculum, along with supplemental Bible-based resources that support both academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Chapel is integrated into our weekly schedule and curriculum that all our students have the opportunity to participate in all together once a week.

Curriculum

Pre-K Program

Our Pre-K curriculum is thoughtfully designed to meet children where they are developmentally. Abeka’s preschool program is written from a Biblical worldview and takes into account the unique motor skills and cognitive abilities of young learners, serving as a strong bridge to kindergarten.

Through colorful, engaging resources and hands-on activities, children are introduced to essential academic concepts while developing a love for learning.

Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and faith.

Kindergarten

The Abeka Kindergarten program builds a strong foundation in phonics and early reading, introducing blends and simple words to help children read with confidence. Students also develop writing skills, forming letters, words, and sentences, and explore Bible lessons on Genesis and the life of Christ. Basic math concepts, like counting and simple arithmetic, are introduced to prepare students for 1st grade. This well-rounded program supports growth in academics and faith.

1st Grade

In 1st grade at Oaks Academy, students build a strong foundation in reading, writing, and math using Abeka and other Bible-based academic programs. They will grow as confident readers through phonics and reading comprehension, strengthen writing and grammar skills, and develop math understanding with addition, subtraction, and problem-solving. Daily Bible lessons help students apply God’s Word to their lives, while science, social studies, and enrichment activities foster curiosity and critical thinking — all within a nurturing, faith-centered environment.

2nd Grade

In 2nd grade at Oaks Academy, students continue to grow in reading fluency, comprehension, and writing using Abeka and other Bible-based academic resources. They build on foundational math skills with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, while exploring grammar, spelling, and vocabulary to strengthen communication. Daily Bible lessons encourage spiritual growth and character development. Students also engage in science and social studies to expand their understanding of the world, all within a Christ-centered learning environment that nurtures both academic and spiritual growth.
